Its fascinating placement, which is inside a stone mountain cave, its spectacular view to the Amalfi coast s waves and its old frescos are an amazing interpretation of the 10th and 11th century religious culture and are now maintained and renovated by the municipality, with the help of local NGOs.

After the former success of Acarbio’s collaboration with the elderly association, our volunteers were invited again to spend an evening with the community s elders, which took part in dance classes presented by the dance teacher Salvo Trotta. On latin dance rhythms, no matter the age differences or nationalities, everyone had a great time together.

Our volunteers finished, after 6 days of hard work, the canteen renovation at the kindergarten of the Dominican sisters. The kids will be welcomed in a restored room, more fit to the modern style and needs of the new generation of kids. The same day, one of our volunteers presented a workshop about the european opportunities that the young have access to, optimal ways to access them, and how to get the full experience out of every opportunity.

CREDITS: Lali, Valentin, Mauro, Sara

The third week of the make it blue project kicked off with our volunteers participating in a renovation program at the Dominican nuns of the city of Maiori.
